FireSky

FireSky is a publisher for Social Networks at Play or SNAP games. A wholly-owned subsidiary of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, FireSky was formed in April 2008.

CMG believes there is a need to more intelligently connect gamers who converge on a massive scale—where social networking meets gaming. We call this genre Social Networks At Play games (SNAP games).

FireSky, originally founded in 2005 as Cheyenne Mountain Games, has aggressively recruited talent from the largest developers and publishers in interactive entertainment, including Electronic Arts, the No. 1 publisher in the games industry, Blizzard Entertainment, the creators of blockbuster MMO World of Warcraft, Microsoft, the creators of the Xbox 360 and the Halo® franchise, and Sony Online Entertainment, the creators of the PlayStation3 and publishers of the Everquest® franchise.

This team of more than 100 people has assembled at FireSky’s Mesa, Arizona headquarters to develop and publish online SNAP games that will drive the convergence of social networking and interactive entertainment.

The company expects to create, license and acquire highly recognizable brands initially for personal computers, and eventually for the Xbox 360®, PlayStation3®, Nintendo® Wii, Nintendo Game Boy® Advance & Dual Screen, Sony PlayStation Portable™ and hand-held devices including cell phones.

FireSky will develop, market and sell its products directly, by license or through its affiliate label program with certain third-party publishers.
