Web Developer

Position Summary:

Working independently or in a collaborative team environment of engineers, designers, artists and producers, Web Developers are responsible for developing and delivering maintainable and reliable technical solutions for web-based systems.

Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Must have either Java or PHP – Java is preferred
• Must have one of the following: Oracle, MySQL or MSSQL – Oracle is preferred
• Web Services Experience
• Team-focused software development methodology
• Able to self-manage tasks, time and bugs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desirable Experience and Attributes:
• Experience in relational database design and SQL.
• Familiar with common Java Web programming frameworks
• Experience with developing localized Web sites/applications
• Experience with XML/XSLT or JSON
• Experience with credit card processing/ecommerce systems
• Experience in an iterative development environment
• Team programming experience on teams of 5 – 10 Engineers
• Management and leadership experience
• C# programming experience
• Strong communications, project management and organizational skills.
• B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
